Resolve to Stay on Target in 2009

Last week one of our local clients stopped in to pick up a prized bottle of Digett-crafted wine that our team made to celebrate the season. From my office, I heard them say to Valarie:

"You make it so easy to do business with you."

Of course, I was delighted to hear that. That simple compliment captures the essence of what we so diligently try to achieve as a business. My hat goes off to Valarie, as well as the rest of the team, for doing everything it takes to engender such praise.

You Can Teach an Old Television New Tricks

Radio was supposed to kill print. Television was supposed to kill radio. The Internet was supposed to kill television and all other media. Last I checked, none of that has happened. Instead, radio is hanging on, TV is going high-def, and print—well, print is killing itself.

Avoid Sitting on the Redesign Fence

In one of our first meetings during which we discussed potential designs for their website, Flying Circle Bags (FCB) divulged that they've gone through at least three pretty radically different logos in their nearly 18 years. As FCB owner Jimmy Chittim likes to say, there's no bad time to change a logo. That's an attitude we love to see, because there truly isn't ever a bad time to re-evaluate the effectiveness of any of your marketing tools.
